Capital city of Morglas, later home of Setram and site of the fae mhor expedition to retreieve the Veldrin
Amberlan was ruined when the dragon Setram, then serving Varkar Barduric, returned to what had been Sinval to carry out Varkar's desired destruction of the upstart kingdom of Morglas.
Once the city was gutted, the dragon decided he quite liked the place and settled down there, collecting over time all the treasures of that rapacious realm into his lair.
The fae mhor of House Wedrith established a base there, firstly to try and extract the Veldrin Sk'aal from Hightower, then to pursue it and its bearer across known Alair.
