Bleacher is an utter bastard, pure and simple; violent, sadistic, and aggressive. He hates all convicts, and firmly believes his purpose in the prison is to hasten their exit from this life as quickly, profitably and painfully as possible.
To his superiors, however, he presents a very thorough, loyal and efficient exterior. He's so good at this that Constable Terror and Governor Pinkus regard him as the most trustworthy warden on the force, and tend to defer to him in matters of convict control. Naturally, Bleacher uses this power to the hilt in making the prisoners' lives as short and miserable as possible.
