One of the Seven Swords of the Noldor, Celundir's sword
Carnimlonde is made of steel, with an ivory basket hilt and a hemispherical tortoiseshell pommel. The sheath is made of tough hide. It was lost to Varkar at Lomegor, and was among the hoard at the time of the Slaying, falling into the hands of the Wyrmslayers. It was returned to HighKing Doronond in Belamir in 1602 by Surya of Tellare.
