Controlling the only known pass through the Engeror Mountains, Duceor has both power and responsibility. While very few travellers come through the Vesate pass most of the time, occasional groups of dwarf traders will come down on their way to their kin in the Ereans. Far more often, orcs, wolves and other fell creatures come through the pass, and the fortress city of Vorsand has been built to guard the pass and keep these incursions at bay. The knightly Order of Lanrath maintains its’ motherhouse in northern Duceor. Part of its’ duties is the provision of troops to Vorsand, but they also act as a defence against the orcs of Gadûhvrás, who occasionally will attempt to raid into the farmlands of Duceor or Trialt. Duceor’s main products are corn and pork.Duceor was the first to fall under the Dragon's rule, and remained his primary residence for the rest of his life. As the capital of his realms, it was also home to many of the most powerful Kin, and once the Dark Beast was dead, they began to squabble amongst themselves over the levers of power.
