Elf hero, bard and illusionist, slain at Parmadin, bearer of Aglarka
Thyril was a sea-elf from Belegond, and a mighty weaver of enchantments and illusions. He fought at the battle of Tellare in 672, but seems to have quit the field early in remorse at the actions of his king. Since then he roamed Alair independently, fighting evil and weaving song and enchantment to the good of all.
Thyril fought beside his old friend Lómorfil at Parmadin, and was slain by in an arcane duel by an unidentified black wizard. His sword, Aglarka, most magical of the Six Swords, was destroyed in the struggle.
